And, if it turns out that he isn't your man, then you won't have sold yourself short, or diminished yourself to be with him. You really have nothing to lose, except a person who is not the right person in the first place, and in that sense, you have nothing to lose at all!

It's a scary question, I know.

But, you know what? You really DO want to know. Otherwise, you can get your hearts all entangled, your families, your monies, and your time, when it may not really be a good relationship at all.

So, don't be afraid to find out.

And, do you know what the fastest way is to find out if you are "the one" for him?

Be you.

If you are the one, he will love YOU like you are, as you are. He won't want you to change one little thing. Your foibles and your quirks are what make you special to him. This is one of the most wonderful surprises of real love. You'll discover that he really loves you - for you! It's hard to believe sometimes. Sometimes we can feel unlovable. But when you find your soul partner, he will actually love you - as you are! And, vice versa!

So that means, you can be yourself. And, that your YOUness IS what he loves about you. You will discover that when you are being yourself, and not even trying, he loves you even more!

If you wear fancy lingerie or try to act flirtatious, when that's not you, it will just confuse him. Conversely, if you try to be all badass and one of the guys, and if that's not you, he will start to lose interest. But if either of those ways are your natural, true self, and he has fallen in love with you, then those very things will be WHAT he loves about you.

He'll fall in love with you because you love to wear your hair in braids, or that you are an expert skateboarder, or that you only like to write sad poems. You get the idea. By being yourself - really and truly yourself - he will find himself telling his friends, him mom, his dog, and anyone that will listen, that he is in love with a woman whose very particular and peculiar combination of qualities are exactly what he has been looking for. He will think you are adorable when you wear your favorite L.A. Dodgers baseball hat almost every day, or he discovers that instead of cake on your birthday you prefer a rootbeer float.

So, be yourself. Act like you. You want your man to fall in love with YOU, right?

And, if it turns out that he isn't your man, then you won't have sold yourself short, or diminished yourself to be with him. You really have nothing to lose, except a person who is not the right person in the first place, and in that sense, you have nothing to lose at all!
