In a conversation with a Toronto audience in 2013, Hillary Clinton stated, "Hypothetically speaking, I really do hope that we have a woman president in my lifetime. I hope we will see a woman elected because I think it would send exactly the right historical signal to girls, women as well as boys and men."

The winds of cultural change are blowing, and the signals are becoming clear. Despite stubborn media stereotypes, women are making a dynamic impact as they exercise their power to lead, ignite change, and make the world a better place to be. No longer satisfied to take a back seat in business, government, their communities or anywhere else, women are tapping into their potent divine feminine power and running with it.

As women continue to surge in major areas of life, the men in their lives remain a fundamental part of the equation. Husbands, brothers, partners, fathers, and sons all accompany women on their path to wholeness. However, there are times when both sexes don't fully grasp the benefit of the other's inherent divine strengths or comprehend the potential to shift the world's vibrational energy in amazing ways.

Human beings create the barriers that exist between men and women. The "War of the Sexes" is either generated by media sensationalism or fearful ignorance. If a proverbial male vs. female tug-of-war exists, it's sparked by the struggle to balance the masculine and feminine energies within us.

An essential trait of both the divine feminine and divine masculine is inclusion. Whether it's a "No Boys Allowed" mentality and or membership in "The He-Man Woman Hater's Club, " both stances represent the antithesis of divine energy. Not only are you alienating yourself from the opposite sex, you're shutting yourself off from the very energy that exists within you. This fundamental disconnect only perpetuates the misconceptions that keep "separateness" in place.

However, when we choose to evolve together and include the opposite sex in our circle, each gender moves closer to comfortably harmonizing their innate divine essences.

We are all one -- two halves of the same divine energy. We are the Yin and Yang; seemingly opposite forces that are interconnected and interdependent. As we commit to our acceptance of the opposite sex, the gulf of separation closes and both women and men can walk together in peace. When we accept and love each other, we shift our vibrational energy away from fear and create a more vibrant, loving world for everyone.
