Ariel Winter, body positivity crusader, has responded to "a certain interview" about body shaming with a post on Instagram. The "Modern Family" actress doesn't name any names, but after reading her note, we can't help but think of a recent interview Chloë Grace Moretz gave to Glamour magazine.

"Many have asked about my opinion on a certain interview … all I'm going to say is this: If you take a photo in which you feel CONFIDENT about yourself and think it spreads a positive image, then GO FOR IT," Winter wrote. "The 'background' doesn't matter - what matters is the message you are putting out there is true to what YOU believe in - not what anyone else says about YOU."

In Moretz's interview, the 19-year-old "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" star addressed her Twitter feud with Kim Kardashian, which all started after the latter shared a nude selfie on Instagram. (It's the photo that keeps on giving, even though we don't want it to.) While all the drama was going down online, Winter defended the reality star and, in return, got a personalized note and bouquet of flowers.

“I had just gotten off a plane from South Korea, I was incredibly jet-lagged, and I couldn’t take one more thing. I saw that photo, and I had to say something,” Moretz told Glamour of her initial tweet (below) to Kardashian.

"That picture wasn’t linked to body confidence. It wasn’t a #BodyConfidence or #LoveWhoYouAre. It was done in a slightly voyeuristic light, which I felt was a little inappropriate for young women to see," she continued. "I would hate for young women to feel they need to post certain photos in order to gain likes, retweets, favorites, and male attention … I wasn’t slut-shaming. It’s not about body shaming.”

Regardless of whether or not Winter was addressing Moretz's interview, we think it's time for everyone to get over Kim's nude selfie. The whole thing is getting tired.
