Arielle Scarcella, Vlogger, Launches LGBT History YouTube Campaign

Was Bugs Bunny The First Televised Drag Queen?

Was Bugs Bunny the first drag queen to make an apperance on television?

Queer YouTube vlogger Arielle Scarcella raises this question in the first of a year-long series of YouTube videos that are slated to explore lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) history. According to Scarcella, no one in the YouTube community of vloggers focuses on the history of the queer community -- and she intends to change this.

Scarcella is currently engaged in a Kickstarter campaign to fund a team to research and write this series of LGBT history YouTube videos that she will produce. She runs the YouTube channel GirlfriendsTV that releases 52 weekly videos a year -- and her LGBT History project would involve an additional 36 videos throughout 2015.
