Arnold Jokes About Arizona: They'd Deport Me

Governor Schwarzenegger used his commencement speech at Emory University in Atlanta Monday to make a joke about the Arizona immigration policy — and to deliver a crack at his in-laws.

"I was also going to give a graduation speech in Arizona this weekend," Schwarzenegger joked. "But with my accent, I was afraid they would try to deport me."

The governor, who received an honorary law degree, also included a joke about his wife, Maria Shriver, and her extended Kennedy clan.

"This is my first law degree," he said. "Finally, the Kennedys will think I'm a success. And Maria can finally bring me home to meet her family."
