Arsenio Garcia Charged With Drunk Driving, Crashing Into Cop Car While Wearing Just Underwear, Socks

Drunk Driver Wearing Only Underwear Crashes Into Cop Car

A Chicago man was charged with drunk driving, among a number of other charges, after he crashed into a police squad car -- all while wearing little clothing.

Arsenio Garcia, 24, of the 4000 block of West Potomac Avenue, was stopped by police just after 11 a.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of North Kilbourn Avenue after a concerned citizen alerted police to a likely drunk driver, the Chicago Tribune reports.

After police tracked down Garcia, he drove the wrong way down a one-way street and crashed into a squad car. After the collision, Garcia "opened up the door and just fell out of the car" while clad only in underwear and socks, a police spokesman told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Garcia was charged with misdemeanor DUI, driving without a license and no insurance, damage to public property and other charges, CBS Chicago reports. Both Garcia and the officer who was in the squad car involved in the collision sustained minor injuries.
