New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger, Jr. has a lot going on these days.

The New York Post reported Thursday that Sulzberger is engaged to his girlfriend Gabrielle Greene. The two have been dating for a year, and it will be his second marriage.

Times spokesperson Eileen Murphy confirmed the engagement to the Post, saying that it was "true," unlike the other reports that the Post had just asked her about.

The news comes as major drama continues to unfold at the Times. Sulzberger removed Jill Abramson as executive editor last week and replaced her with Dean Baquet, to the shock of the newsroom. He and the Times have had to defend themselves against charges of pay discrimination, and criticism over the way he fired Abramson.
