Hello out there! Its hot and that's probably making your brain a little fuzzy, but Artlog has some great events you should not miss this week! Start of the second half of your week with a little art therapy.

Head out to the Drawing Center's Big Draw Flash Mob, sketch the dancing fiend Paul-Andre Fortier, and share your images with the world! Also Wednesday, throw on your favorite pair of booty shorts and check out the Electronic Arts Intermix's screening of Short Shorts. Thursday and Friday mark the beginnings of two festivals, The New York City International Film Festival, which will be screening free movies in Father Duffy Square, and FringeNYC's Fringe Festival. Before you head out to Fringe on Friday, follow Artlog's twitter feed for the interview with MuseumNerd at 2pm. Hop on the Jitney Saturday morning and head out to the Hamptons for the weekend. While you're there be sure you don't miss the opening of Down by Law on Saturday night at Eric Firestone Gallery, Peter Saville's show at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller, and Underground Pop at Parrish Art Museum. Not lucky enough to be heading out to the beach this weekend? Check out Artlog's Summer Party Guide for things to do throughout the week.
