Armenia tends to send extraordinary acts to Eurovision and this year is no exception. Armenia's Depi Evratesil (literally to Eurovision so it sounds like a bus route) was a three month long contest that showcased the incredible depth and breadth of talent in Armenia.

The winner is Artsvik (the wiwi favorite) who could well be bringing Eurovision to Armenia next year.

Artsvik was mentored by Genealogy member Essai Altounian. For the final Artsvik sang Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing and she knocked it out of the park. And she did it effortlessly. The level of raw talent she has is incredible.

So what will she do at Eurovision? For that, look to what is an even better song and delivery. And one that is in Armenian which I think is an even better language for her songs. (Warning, the video will overdose you on saccharine girlfriend hugs.)

With an equally good (or better) song, and good staging, she can take it all the way to #1 with her voice and screen presence. She owns you with this song.

Earlier in the contest she did numerous other songs. She excels on the ballads including her rendition of Some People. (Outside of ballads, including her rendition of A Million Voices, she's good, but not amazing.)

As we wait to see what Armenia will be bringing to Kiev, we leave you with this song she did several years ago that show she's been a major talent for some time.

What do you think? Will we be in Armenia next year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
