1. Jack Shainman's The School

120 miles north of Manhattan, The School (which was opened in 2014 by dealer Jack Shainman) is celebrating it's second anniversary with A Change of Place: Four Solo Exhibitions. Pierre Dorion, Hayv Kahraman, Richard Mosse, and Garnett Puett come together to present themes of transformation, environment, and remembrance through painting, photography and sculpture.
2. Galerie Gris

Opening this weekend in the Hudson Valley is Ryan Russo's solo exhibition Sound and Vision at Galerie Gris. Using the black magnetic strip of VHS and audio cassette tapes, Russo repurposes obsolete technology and gives it new life.
3. Storm King Art Center

4. LongHouse Reserve

Located in East Hampton, LongHouse Reserve is a 16-acre reserve and sculpture garden that reflects world cultures and creative life. Founded by textile designer, author, and collector Jack Lenor Larsen, the property features work by Buckminster Fuller, Yoko Ono and William de Kooning.
5. Nassau County Museum of Art
Address: One Museum Drive, Roslyn Harbor, New York 11576
Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 11am - 4:45pm
A short drive or train ride from NYC, the museum, located in a historic Gold Coast mansion, is presenting Feast for the Eyes, a two-floor exhibition focused on food and dining in art. Featuring work by Henri Matisse, Claes Oldenberg, Cindy Sherman and Andy Warhol, this unique exhibition is not to miss.
