"Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson says she's single again.
The 23-year-old actress confirmed that she and boyfriend (Justin Bieber's former swagger coach) Ryan Good had split after a year together, telling Seventeen magazine, "I've always been in relationships. And I knew I needed to learn to be comfortable alone."
The pair was rumored to have ended their relationship in fall 2012, and though Benson has since been linked to her "Spring Breakers" co-star James Franco, neither the actress nor Good would confirm it at the time.
Benson broke up with Good around the same time her pal Selena Gomez broke things off from Justin Bieber, and told the magazine that their split was "rough."
"Anytime you go through a breakup, it's rough. Ryan and I are still close, but I'm too young to be in a serious relationship. Work is my boyfriend," she told Seventeen.
In March 2012, Benson admitted that the couple's hectic schedules didn't make things easy.
"The first couple of months, it was all Skype," she told Teen Vogue. "He was in Japan, Europe, everywhere. I'd have to wake up at two in the morning to talk to him. It's hard being in this industry. You're always away from your family and friends and boyfriend."
Now, Benson says she's taking a break from dating, but rumors she and Franco are more than friends still persist. Franco himself denied the two were an item, but the pair were spotted holding hands at SXSW last week, which only fuels rumors the two are together.
