Not everyone reacts to filming their first threesome scene the same way.
While Vanessa Hudgens has said the sexy scene in the upcoming film "Spring Breakers" is something she never wants to do again, her co-star and scene partner, Ashley Benson, had a very different experience. In an interview with HollywoodLife, the 23-year-old "Pretty Little Liars" star revealed that filming the scene with Hudgens and James Franco was "comfortable."
“I’m really happy I had Vanessa to be there with me and James he’s done this a million times, he didn’t make it awkward at all. We were very comfortable," Benson said. "[Director Harmony Korine] wanted us to be comfortable, or else it would have looked weird. Vanessa and I were so thankful that we were so close and had each other because any intimate scene is very awkward, even kissing a guy on screen is awkward because you have people all around you filming as well as an audience so I don’t know, it turned out amazing.”
The film, which hits theaters March 22, also stars Selena Gomez and Rachel Korine. All four ladies play college students who rob a fast-food restaurant to finance their spring break trip to Florida and get involved with a drug dealer, played by Franco. The starlets appear to spend the majority of the film wearing bikinis.
"Spring Breakers" was shot cinema verite-style, with real-life college kids providing an ultra-realistic background canvas to film against.
"We were filming this party scene, and there were these two girls — actual spring breakers — on the ground, topless, making out with each other. And then the bottoms started to come off, and I was like, OH MY GOD!" Hudgens revealed in a recent interview.
