Ashley Graham's Naked Body Is A Work Of Art In V Magazine

DAMN. (P.S. These photos are NSFW.)

Ashley Graham spent Monday evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Now she’s being shown as a work of art herself.

The model appears in V Magazine’s summer issue in a feature titled “Body Beautiful” and well, the NSFW photos pretty much speak for themselves.

Graham stripped down completely for one insanely hot spread, shot by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti. The 29-year-old contorts her body in a way that’s equal parts sexy and downright impressive.

Graham holds nothing back in the black-and-white shoot, wearing fishnets and lingerie in some images and nothing at all in others. One striking image in particular shows off Graham’s stretch marks and cellulite, a part of her body she has been vocal about accepting and normalizing.

In the corresponding interview, conducted by Tracee Ellis Ross, Graham explained that the notion started as early as middle school, thanks to her mom.

“I remember telling my mom, ‘Isn’t it disgusting? It’s so ugly,’” she said. “She pulled her pants down and said, ‘Look, I have it too.’ And I was like ‘Gasp!’ She looked at me, then at it, and just rolled her eyes. She didn’t tell me that it’s beautiful or ugly, she just made it a nonissue. It doesn’t define my worth.”

Amen to that, and to this gorgeous shoot. See the entire spread in all its glory at V Magazine.
