At Age 3, Prince George Is Already a Style Icon

Kids are growing up so fast these days.

To mark Prince George’s third birthday—can you believe the future king of England is already three?—Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account released four images of the second littlest royal wearing what we can only describe exactly what we want to wear this weekend.

At a quick glance, there’s nothing revolutionary about the simple combination of a t-shirt with shorts. But look a little closer and you’ll find that the t-shirt is anything but basic (a pocket tee is decidedly in right now, but the addition of stripes and a contrasting patch kicks things up a notch), and tucking it in is the kind of retro move that has moved past dorkiness and squarely into cool kid territory.

This publication has lauded the little prince (and, by extension, whichever member of the royal family is putting these looks together) for his style prowess in the past. And at the rate he’s going, he’ll be a bona fide street style star by the time he can tie his own shoes.
