It's no longer just friends and relatives blanketing your Facebook newsfeed with the Ice Bucket Challenge, the social media-based campaign intended to raise awareness and money for the fight against ALS. The cause has also caught on with professional athletes nationwide. And no one has had a better response to their nomination than Paul Bissonnette.
Not content to just make do with a quick dousing, the former Phoenix Coyote and current NHL free agent took to the top of a mountain to receive his ice shower from a helicopter.
Though Bissonnette's video might be the most memorable, he's far from the only athlete willing to get wet for a worthy cause. Scroll down to see a host of other famous pros taking an Ice Bucket Challenge of their own.
