August 10 Primary Elections: The 8 Biggest Winners And Losers

On Tuesday, voters in Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, and Minnesota took to the polls to decide which candidates would advance to face-off in general election match-ups come November.

Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet scored a win in Colorado against primary challenger Andrew Romanoff and in doing so arguably earned a proxy victory for the White House.

Karen Handel's presumed defeat to Nathan Deal in Georgia's GOP gubernatorial runoff, could be viewed as a loss for Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney, who backed the conservative hopeful.
