Azizi Gibson just released A "New Life" on preHISTORIC. Produced by KAMANDI, Millz Douglas, and Southside, this record won't disappoint fans of the unique sound Azizi Gibson has cultivated by working with some of the most interesting producers in the game.

On the cusp of breaching rap's pantheon, rapper Azizi Gibson has quickly positioned himself as the next big thing to come out of the West Coast. In addition to releasing an album, Gibson has announced his first headlining US tour beginning in June hitting New York, Seattle, San Francisco and more.

"A New Life" marks Gibson's third full-length album, and sophomore release since going independent. As KAMANDI, Southside and Millz Douglas handle production, Gibson delivers his signature melodic flow that is similar to the project's first three singles 'DJ Khaled', 'Bragging Rights (Feat. DJ Paul)' and 'Matrix Slave Ship'.

Last year saw tremendous artistic growth for Azizi Gibson. After parting ways from Brainfeeder Records and dropping his self-released EP 'The Last', Gibson found himself collaborating with Waka Flocka on 'Slave Ship' and soon after found a home with the 36Brickhouse team. Experiencing such success with 'The Last' on his own, Azizi decided to take the independent route once more for the album "preHISTORIC Till Death", that quickly hit #1 in the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Charts. Continuing the momentum from preHISTORIC, Gibson soon after released the Southside produced EP "Grim Meets Evil".

Azizi originally burst onto the scene in 2012 after signing to Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder Records. During his stay on the label, he released the mixtape "Ghost in The Shell", a collaborative project "Ignorant Prayers" with Jeremiah Jae, and the popular "Backward Books" album.

Although "A New Life" may be Azizi's fifth project, this is only the beginning. Azizi is out for blood with this new album, as he plans to solidify his place in rap's elite, taking listeners on a journey through both sound and lyricism.
