Babies R Us HALO SleepSacks Recalled (PHOTOS)

ALERT: Babies R Us Recalls SleepSacks

HALO SleepSacks, exclusively sold at Babies R Us stores between December 2011 through July 2013, have been recalled. The items sold for approximately $25 each, and were recalled due to a choking hazard from satin petals that are on the sleeper, but can detach.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission had six reports of petals detaching including one infant that was found reportedly gagging on one of the flowers.

SleepSack products with the following GPU numbers printed on a neck label under the primary neck label are included in the recall: 2701, 2781, 2886, 2887, 3007, 3035 and 3142.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission advises to discontinue use of these sleepers and contact HALO innovations to receive a replacement product. For more information, visit halosleep.com.
