The body of a baby was reportedly found on a conveyer belt at a recycling plant in Victorville, California on Thursday.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Corporal Randy Naquin told CBS Los Angeles that the baby was wrapped in a blanket.
KTLA reports that the address given by the department matches that of Burrtec Waste Industries, "a waste company based in Fontana."
The Los Angeles Times reports that the general manager at the plant couldn't be reached for comment.
The reports come almost exactly a month after a baby in Spain was killed after his mother allegedly set him on a luggage conveyer belt at the Alicante airport in Madrid.
