Bacon Candy Tastes Like Breakfast On A Stick (VIDEO)

A former graphic designer quit her day job to embark on an exciting business endeavor: making candy.

"I remember [thinking], 'How hard can this be?'," confectioner Megan Ferrell says. "It was a lot harder than I thought! When you start adding natural ingredients, it becomes a lot more difficult."

This isn't the ultra-sugary candy that appeals to kids, and it doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup, either. It's candy made for adults, using natural ingredients and featuring unique flavors, such as Lemon Vodka using real vodka. Perhaps the most inventive flavor is Maple Bacon, combining the sweet and meaty flavors of breakfast.

"It's unusual because you don't find meat in candy," Ferrell says. "But... if you like pancakes and bacon and sausage and maple syrup, you're going to like it."
