Ty Travels: A Beanie Boo Adventure

Mom took me to the Caribbean Island of Curacao where I stayed at the luxurious Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort. It's super secluded and sits on 2000 acres of a natural preserve. This place is fit for a king and queen! I'm not kidding. Just ask Dutch King Willem Alexander and his wife Queen Maxima, who stayed there when they visited.

It was fun to get wet at all the different pools and fountains at the resort.
Mom decided she wanted to go on a snorkel adventure so we went to the Ocean Encounters dive shop on the resort's beach to sign up. I relaxed on a little catamaran while mom filled out the paperwork. We'd be going out on that big boat behind me.
While I waited for her, I made some friends in the sand.
The snorkeling excursion was fun. I met a large jellyfish and mom explored a wreck - a tugboat that sank several decades back when it tried to assist a larger ship. That large ship accidentally dropped it's anchor on the poor tugboat, which made it sink. Oops!
Ocean Encounters also has a unique program with Sea Aquarium Curacao where visitors can get up close and personal with sharks, turtles, stingrays and other animals. (See mom's post about that here). It was a little too scary for lil' ol me, so I stayed above the water and hung out with the pelicans. They eat fish, not Pandas.
