"...you're in Pub City (we can still lay claim to that, having lost the right to call ourselves the Garden City at least a decade ago), so do visit some of our many micro-breweries to get a taste of what the city has to offer. Windwills in Whitefield, Arbor on Magrath Rd, Toit in Indiranagar and Biere Club near UB City are some of the options you can explore." - Elle Kay from Bangalore, India

Where to Stay

"I would suggest you to stay near M.G.Road. It is centrally located, happening and quite safe. You will find plenty of good hotels in the area. Based on your budget you can go for Royal Orchid Central, The Oberoi or The Park Hotel. There are many more good hotels nearby so you won't find any problem finding a desired place to stay." - Saurabh Odhyan from Bangalore, India

"And pro tip: Don't take the public transport. The buses are unpredictable and the autos are rip-offs. Just Uber it everywhere. It's the most honest, most safe and in some cases, the most inexpensive way to get around town." - Elle Kay from Bangalore, India

Daytrips:

"I would suggest watching the sunrise at Nandi Hills (which is about 1.5 hours drive from the center of the city) and...won't cost you much (apart from the transport cost - you could book a cab using Uber or Ola)." - Nivedita M from Bangalore, India
