The footage above shows a brave bank manager using all of his strength to keep the door shut on a would-be bank robber. And it works!

Police in Zebulon, North Carolina, say the suspect attempted to enter a downtown PNC bank around 9:15 a.m., Thursday, according to The News & Observer. "Attempted" being the key word here, because the bank manager saw the suspect approaching and quickly grabbed his side of the door.

Despite brandishing "a small black semi automatic handgun which he began to use to strike the door," the suspect never gained access to the bank, police said, according to ABC News. The suspect ran off and was at-large as of Thursday afternoon, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Zebulon Police Department at 919-823-1818 or the East Wake Crimestoppers, 919-366-CRIM (2746).
