Barbie Made A Zendaya Doll Based On The Star's Dreadlocked Oscars Look

She received her gift at a Los Angeles concert this weekend.

Barbie made a new doll based on Zendaya at the 2015 Oscars, where the Disney star paired a white Vivienne Westwood gown with long dreadlocks. Her outfit spurred "Fashion Police" host Giuliana Rancic to suggest the 19-year-old looked as if she'd smell like weed and patchouli oil, kicking off a storm of backlash against the E! show for unfair scrutiny.

Now her outfit has been commemorated in miniature.

"When I was little, I couldn't find a Barbie that looked like me," Disney star Zendaya wrote on Instagram over the weekend. "My ... how times have changed."

The iconic toymaker honored the actress at the Rock 'N Royals concert benefitting VH1's Save The Music Foundation in Los Angeles on Saturday. There's no word on whether the rest of us will be able to buy Zendaya dolls -- although the company did release a more diverse set of Barbies earlier this year. And Zendaya added on Instagram that she "can't wait to keep doing amazing things" with the company.

For her, the doll represents much more than a memorable award ceremony outfit.

"It's a positive message to send to my fans, including my nieces who are coming with me to the concert," Zendaya said in a statement.
