UPDATE: A rep for Barry Manilow told the Huffington Post in a statement that the singer is out of surgery.
"Barry is out of surgery and doing well," a spokesperson for Manilow said. "His doctors report that the surgery was successful and they expect no further complications. For the next forty eight hours, Manilow has been instructed not to talk, sing, or rap."
Manilow, who is currently on his final tour, titled One Last Time, finished a show in Memphis before being taken to a hospital in Los Angeles. Because of this setback, Manilow will reschedule two of his upcoming tour dates.
Manilow was slated to perform at the Grammys on Monday, but it remains "unclear" as to whether or not he will make it.
The singer recently talked about his final tour and insisted he wasn't retiring. Instead, he joked that he just wants less packing.
"I was in the middle of the last [tour], and I just wanted to know when 'Judge Judy' was on," Manilow said in a March 2015 interview with Steve Schonberg. "I just wanted my life back. I'm very grateful that I'm still able to tour, that there's still an audience out there for me, but you lose your life with touring."
Hopefully, he'll be back on the road singing about "Mandy" soon enough.
