Baseball Coach Learns Sex Of His Baby With Fitting 'Gender Reveal'

Watch the team's adorable celebration.

When it came time to learn the sex of his unborn baby, this college baseball coach found a fitting way to announce the news.

Mike Brown is a camps coordinator and volunteer assistant coach for the Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team. He and his wife Sarah have a toddler daughter named Riki and are expecting their second child.

Following the suggestion of head coach Andy Cannizaro, the couple held a “gender reveal” during practice earlier this month. The logistics were simple: Mike stepped up to the plate to hit a baseball filled with powder off a batting tee. Before the big moment, the team members picked sides to guess whether or not the powder would be pink to signal a girl or blue for a boy.
