Outdated Bathroom Gets Major Makeover On HGTV's 'Bang For Your Buck' (VIDEO)

Bathrooms tend to be one of the more overlooked spaces in the home. After all, it's a small space where, at most, you'll spend up to a half hour at a time. (Either getting ready for work or recovering from an ill-advised food purchase.) Often, the bathroom will become a time capsule to decor trends from the '50s-'80s.

Such was the case for the homeowners, above. Though their mid-century home had gorgeousness to spare, the bathroom was decidedly more "grandma." With a few strategic purchases, however, they were able to overhaul the room into a stunning, relaxing escape.
