Director Benh Zeitlin and his colleagues from Court 13 Pictures, whose breakout indie hit "Beasts of the Southern Wild" is nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, are planning an exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans that is slated to open shortly after the Academy Awards ceremony, the Times-Picayune reports.

Though few details of the show are available yet, it will open on March 8, and shed light on the group's distinctive aesthetic and creative process.

"The whole exhibit is about sort of where all the inspiration for all the shorts comes from, and featuring all the art that goes into it," Zeitlin told the Times-Picayune. "We're going to have the boat that Hushpuppy and Wink ride from ('Beasts'), we're hoping the Lost Bayou Ramblers are coming to play. And so that's going to go up March 8 and hopefully be up three months. We sort of consider that our big homecoming party."

Between now and then Zeitlin and company will fly out to Los Angeles for the Oscars ceremony on February 24, all the while continuing to finalize exhibition details. "We're sort of frantically putting together right now," Zeitlin told the Times-Picayune.
