Michelle Persad, HuffPost Style Fashion Assistant, Pairs Ombré Hair And Orangey-Red Lips

At our office, at least.

"I put Pond's Dry Skin Cream all over my body and my face," Michelle Persad, the fashion assistant here at HuffPost Style, told us recently when we grilled her on the secret to her ridiculously luminous skin. "I've heard from a few dermatologists that it's too rich to put on your face, but it's what my grandmother has used her entire life and she has the skin of a 16-year-old, so I'm going to keep using it." Huh, good to know.

Michelle's long, blonde-tinged hair has become somewhat of an attraction around the office, inspiring more than a few to try the trend themselves. "I went ombré a year ago because I wanted a low-maintenance change and it's been so easy to keep up with -- I've only had to re-dye it once since then. I like it because it brightens up my face in the winter -- though I'm planning to chop it off this summer and go for a shorter style."

While it's hard to imagine Michelle without ombré (we'll believe it when we see it, Persad), you're even less likely to see her without a little lip color. "My go-to piece of makeup is definitely lipstick, whether it's red, orange, fuchsia or burgundy, I think it can finish off any look."
