Beauty Street Style: Rachel Tepper, Food Editor, Reveals Her Frizz-Fighting Trick

There might be a topsy tail involved.

Every week we hit the streets of New York with the mission to find inspiring ladies, snap their photos and get all the details for Beauty Street Style. But sometimes we turn the lens on one of our own, like Rachel Tepper, who works as as food editor here at The Huffington Post.

For starters, we had to know the exact lipstick shade. "Maybelline Lip Color In Coral Crush," she told us. "I like to buy so many colors of lipstick that it doesn't make sense for me to buy really expensive brands. I find they wear similarly anyway." And the secret to her loose waves is something she's been working on for years. "I've been using Aveda Be Curly since I was in the 7th grade. My mom took me to have a stylist teach me how to do my hair because it's really frizzy! I put in the product after a shower when my hair is wet, then pull it back in a messy bun and tuck it back like, a topsy tail (but I don't put it all the way through) and sleep on it. (Check out the detail shot below.) Then in the morning I take it out, and I've tamed the frizz. I just let it dry the rest of the way.
