Beer Pong Swine Flu Victim: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Warns Against Beirut To Prevent H1N1 Spread

Swine flu has claimed its latest victim: beer pong.

Officials at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute are warning students that the drinking game (and college past time) was responsible for the spreading of the H1N1 virus in an incident this past weekend.

The game calls for participants to throw ping pong balls into each others' cups of beer, allowing for the easy transfer of germs from players' hands and mouths to their competitors.

According to AP, the college has reported "21 cases of swine flu, including seven students who are in isolation rooms on the school's campus."
