Statement Belts: Beyonce, Madonna And 48 More Stars Cinch In Style (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: This Accessory Will Make You Look Slimmer

Some girls can't live without their red lipstick, others love their baubles. I am a belt girl. I have a vast collection from years of traveling and thrifting, including a black number with gold hardware from The Limited that reminds me of a Chanel belt from the '80s and a seashell-adorned belt from Portabello flea market in London.

I first started paying attention to belts when I noticed that Jennifer Aniston always wore a brown leather belt with her jeans. Her style is very casual, but she always looks put together. Since then, my obsession has grown; I put a belt on almost everything now. It's such a small detail, but it can totally change a look: add a wide belt to a dress to show off your waist, or wear a skinny neon belt with a thin cardigan for an unexpected pop of color. I love to add a colorful belt to my faux fur jackets and my trench coats, it really customizes the look.

The best thing about this accessory is that not only are they are relatively inexpensive, they actually perform a function. Now what could be better than that? Behold, five of our favorite belts, and 50 celebrities who show us how to belt it out.
