Ben Stein Wonders If Obama Hates America Because 'He's Part Black'

"He has a real strong hatred of America. Is it because he's part black?"

Ben Stein, a conservative critic of President Barack Obama, is looking for an explanation of why the president supposedly hates the country, and suggested there might be a racial reason behind it.

The former Nixon speechwriter and game show host said Tuesdsay on "The Steve Malzberg Show" that the reason Obama loathes America might have something to do with the president being an African-American.

"The real question is, why is he so angry at America? I don't think there's much question that he does not wish America well," Stein said. "He has a real strong hatred of America."

Stein, who said he's a fan of psychology and psychoanalysis, answered his own question by trying to get inside the president's head.

"Is it because he’s part black? I don’t know. Is it because his father was mistreated by the British in Kenya? I don’t know. We just know that in terms of being a forthright bold leader who takes on our enemies, he’s not there. He’s missing in action."

Earlier in the interview while discussing the Islamic State, Stein said the president was a laughingstock. "As the leader of the most important nation in the world, he’s a bad joke," Stein said to the Newsmax host. "He's a very real danger."

Throughout his presidency, Obama has endured racially motivated rhetorical attacks, and faced allegations that he wasn't born in the country and that he is a Muslim.
