Bengals Cheerleader Lawsuit: Sarah J Sues TheDirty.com

A Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader is suing the web site TheDirty.com for libel. According to the Courrier-Journal, the woman, who works as a school teacher in Kentucky when not cheerleading for the Bengals, claims that the web site incorrectly suggested that she suffered from two sexually transmitted diseases.

While the article does not name the woman and the lawsuit identifies her as "Jane Doe," a December 7 post from TheDirty.com appears to match the description. The post describes a "Sarah J" and says that the cheerleader's ex-boyfriend "cheated on her with over 50 girls in 4 years.. in that time he tested positive for Chlamydia Infection and Gonorrhea.. so im sure Sarah also has both." The Cincinnati Bengals web site lists a cheerleader profile for Sarah J, which says she teaches high school English in Independence, Kentucky. This is her fourth year as a Bengals cheerleader.

As Kissing Suzy Kolber points out, the author of the post was arrested for a DUI in January of 2008.
