Prison Guard Shames Facility By Releasing Inmate Chase Video — Set To Benny Hill Theme

The Albany Times-Union has acquired security footage from the local county jail -- cut, sped up and set to the Benny Hill Theme "Yakety Sax."

According to the report, corrections officer and so-called "filmmaker" Charles Higgins edited the video after prison officials granted him access to the footage for an investigation involving an injured guard.

"We're not paying our guys to be making comedy skits and videos of incidents that occur at our jail," Craig Apple, a sheriff's office and jail official, told the Times-Union.

How did the newspaper acquire such footage? That would be former corrections officer and "injured guard" Robert D. Hunter, who recently lost a federal lawsuit that claimed he was the victim of derogatory comments from his colleagues. Exhibit A: This video.
