Bride Charged With Domestic Battery During Honeymoon

Till death -- or arrest -- do us part.

Police in Broward County, Fla., hauled a newlywed away in handcuffs for allegedly attacking and biting her hubby just hours after the couple tied the knot.

After getting married Saturday morning, Bernadette Besario Catan-Keeler and Mike Keeler headed to a nightclub in Fort Lauderdale that evening to celebrate their nuptial.

But at the dance club, the bride reportedly began dancing with another man -- angering the groom, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

The couple left the venue and returned to their room at the W hotel, where the 30-year-old suspect is accused of pushing her husband and biting him on the shoulder.

The husband ditched the hotel and headed to their home in Lighthouse Point. Catan-Keeler allegedly followed him into the residence -- then ripped off the victim's shirt, poured water on him and bit his arm.

At around 8:30 a.m. the following morning, police arrived at the couple's home while responding to a 911 call.

The suspect reportedly told investigators that the bite on her husband's shoulder occurred when they were "fooling around" a few days before the wedding, while the bite on his arm came after he shoved her against a wall.

The husband allegedly begged officers to keep Catan-Keeler out of jail and told a judge at her bail hearing that her behavior might have been the result of intoxication.

The judge set her bond at $4,500 and demanded that she keep her distance from booze -- and from her husband, NBC Miami reports.
