The Best Actress, Drama Golden Globes nominations have been announced, and Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty") and Marion Cotillard ("Rust & Bone") were among those who received nods.

Also up for nods: Helen Mirren ("Hitchcock"), Rachel Weisz ("The Deep Blue Sea") and Naomi Watts ("The Impossible").

Meryl Streep took home this award last year, honored for her work in "The Iron Lady." Streep played Margaret Thatcher, the late Prime Minister of England.

The Golden Globes will take place on Sunday, Jan. 13. Much to the delight of TV fans, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are co-hosting the broadcast. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), a historically quirky bunch, organizes the awards. As the Globes are voted on by critics and not members of the industry (like the Academy Awards, which are voted on by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences), they are only a somewhat valuable indicator of the Oscar race.

Information on the Best Actress nominees on the television side of the Golden Globes is available at HuffPost TV. A live blog of the nominations is available below the following gallery.
