The Best Buy Public Colleges Ranked By Fiske Guide For 2015

Fiske Guide to Colleges released its annual list of "best buy" schools last week, selecting the 14 public colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom with the most cost-conscious combinations of academics and affordability.

"All of the Fiske Best Buy schools fall into the inexpensive or moderate price category, and most have four- or five-star academics ratings," according to Liz Kelsch, publicity manager for Sourcebooks, Inc., the publisher of Fiske's annual college guide.

The 31st Fiske Guide, originally created by former New York Times education editor Edward B. Fiske, pulls from schools far and wide. Check out the list below to see the 14 public colleges that have been deemed "Best Buys of 2015" by Fiske.
