Dear The Walking Dead survivors,

I'm glad to see you survived the summer with no zombie casualties. I'm rooting for you, I want all of you to survive, even the (probably) zombie baby Lori is carrying.

However, I must say, you keep making silly mistakes. For example, those cars you're driving are probably going to get you eaten. In the Season 3 opener, you guys show up in an old Chevy Suburban, Ram Pickup, Hyundai Tucson and a very noisy chopper-type motorcycle. You know better; zombies are attracted to noise and that old Suburban looks like it's been through an apocalypse already. At this rate, you guys won't make it to Season 4.

You need newer, quieter cars - since the world has essentially ended, you should have your pick of cars available on the side of the road or in abandoned car lots. At least the Tucson is relatively quiet. And being new, it's going be plenty reliable - that's important. As the departed full-size RV proved, one mechanical breakdown can be fatal for the whole group.

At first, you might be tempted to go for a big truck or 4x4 for running down the undead, but gas will likely be in short supply. Frequent stops searching for fuel might put you at the mercy of a zombie horde. And since most roads will still be intact, a big truck with tons of ground clearance isn't necessary. Look for something nimble to weave in and out of wrecked cars and undead bodies.
