Lupita Gives Us Heart Palpitations On Our Best-Dressed List

It was a big week for our best-dressed list. Not only did a guy wear one of our favorite looks, but Lupita Nyong’o hit it out of the park in a jumpsuit, Sofia Vergara wowed in red and Alexa Chung left us coveting furry slides.

Check out our favorite looks of the week and let us know if you agree with our picks.

Plunging pinstripes are perfection.

Lupita Nyong’o in Alessandra Rich: Way to mix masculine and feminine design elements, Nyong'o. The Academy Award-winning actress wore a plunging jumpsuit with pinstripes and showed us that you can look sexy and sophisticated all at once. Oh and the gold accents on her shoes and sunnies aren't hurting.
Fit is the most important thing when it comes to buying a suit.

Tom Hiddleston: It's not often that we put a guy on our best-dressed list, but Hiddleston is worthy. Navy and burgundy are a match made in heaven and the fit of his suit is perfection. The English actor clearly knows what he is doing.
Forgo black for color every once in a while.

Sofia Vergara: Vergara has never met a tight dress she doesn't like, but we especially love this one because of the bright, bold hue. It just goes to show, color can make an ensemble.
Play around with your shoes.

Alexa Chung in Gucci: Leave it to Alexa Chung to make us lust after fur-lined slides. Not only do they up the cool factor in her outfit, but they look insanely comfortable. This fashion girl can do no wrong.
Gingham doesn't have to be cutesy.

Sienna Miller in Victoria Beckham: This gingham dress, with Miller's chunky shoes, looks fashion-forward rather than overtly feminine and cute -- which is how gingham can often look. Her messy hair and minimal makeup help to make this one of our favorite looks of the week.
Navy and black are it.

Julia Restoin Roitfeld in Saint Laurent: There are few things we love more than black and navy. Her patent coat and matching shoes are just the right amount of kitsch in her otherwise neutral outfit. Clearly her mom's excellent sense of style rubbed off on her.
