Macaroni and cheese is one beloved dish -- and it's easy to see why (cheese and pasta, duh). But the amount of love for mac and cheese might also be thanks to the endless ways one can make it. Between the boxed stuffed and homemade, cheddar-loaded stovetop mac or oven-baked with breadcrumbs, there's an option for everyone.
But we wanted to know which mac and cheese reigns supreme, so we polled readers, got answers and charted it. The people have spoken, and the opinions are bold. The HuffPost/YouGov poll consisted of 1,000 completed interviews conducted Sept. 22-27 among U.S. adults, using a sample selected from YouGov's opt-in online panel to match the demographics and other characteristics of the adult U.S. population.

Most surveys report a margin of error that represents some, but not all, potential survey errors. YouGov's reports include a model-based margin of error, which rests on a specific set of statistical assumptions about the selected sample, rather than the standard methodology for random probability sampling.
