With a high number of paid holidays, early retirement age and ample sunshine, the French quality of life is vastly superior to that in the British Isles, a new study has shown.
The newly-released uSwitch Quality of Life index ranked France as the #1 place to live in Europe for the second year in a row, with the U.K. coming in toward the bottom of the list at #9. The study examined a total of 16 factors, including average net income and cost of goods such as fuel, food and energy bills in determining the rankings.
