Beyoncé and Jay-Z weren’t holding their own twins in a video that was played during the opening of their new tour this week, a representative said.
Many fans assumed the couple were holding their own 1-year-old babies, Rumi and Sir Carter, in the video played Wednesday during kickoff of their On The Run II tour in Cardiff, Wales. The video was shown across three screens with a scene that featured Bey, Jay and the two children on either side of the words “Love Never Changes.”
Many outlets, including HuffPost, reported the kids were Rumi and Sir Carter. But a representative for Beyoncé later told HuffPost: “That was a film content clip. Not their babies.”

So, who are these babies in the video? We don’t know.
Rumi and Sir made their debut to the world when they turned 1 month old in July 2017. Beyoncé shared a photo on Instagram that was extremely reminiscent of her pregnancy announcement in February 2017.
The babies have rarely been seen since, with only a few instances of paparazzi capturing them in public. The very private parents also have a 6-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who gets out a bit more.
CORRECTION: An earlier version reported that the children are Rumi and Sir. The babies aren’t Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins, a representative for Beyoncé said.
