Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks delivered a foot-stomping good time at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night.

The singer and the country music trio started off their set with shoutouts to Texas (Knowles and Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines hail from the Lone Star State) before launching into a stirring rendition of ― you guessed it ― Beyoncé’s song “Daddy Lessons” from her hit album “Lemonade.”

Wearing a sheer, sparkly gown with a nude bodysuit and a blinding amount of jewelry, Yoncé clapped, stomped and shook her way through the performance backed by the Dixie Chicks in all-black outfits. Everyone onstage looked like they were thoroughly enjoying themselves.

While the pairing might sound funny to country music fans, the Dixie Chicks are huge fans of Bey and performed “Daddy Lessons” on their recent tour:
