"Entertainment Tonight" reports that Beyoncé will join Coldplay on stage for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show on Feb. 7.

The singer is featured on the band's new album, "A Head Full of Dreams," making the song "Hymn for the Weekend" a likely performance choice.

Queen B was rumored to join the British band when they were revealed as headliners in December -- an announcement that wasn't particularly well-received, judging by some of the reaction on Twitter.

Last year's halftime show, which featured Katy Perry as its headliner, was the most-watched performance ever, and now that Beyoncé is in the mix, Coldplay might have a shot at breaking that record. Anyone who watched Bey headline in 2013 knows they really have a reason to tune in now.
