They may be new parents, but Beyonce and Jay-Z aren't taking much of a career break -- both are reportedly working on new music.
"The conversations about [Beyonce's] next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening," songwriter Ryan Tedder told AOL's The Boombox. "All I can say is that you kind of feed her the best that you have and she's this phenomenal filter and takes it all in... she's not interested in 2012, she's [interested in] what's going to sound good for 2013... Without question she steers the ship. [With Beyonce] you just let her go -- she's ridiculous, she's the best."
As for Jay-Z, fellow artist Pharrell Williams told MTV that "we're working on something, and it's crazy."
Jay-Z's upcoming project with Williams isn't the first we've heard from him since the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The rapper released the song "Glory" shortly after Blue Ivy was born, complete with the heartwarming lyrics "The most amazing feeling I feel/Words can't describe what I'm feeling for real/ Maybe I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you. You. Glory."
