If Beyonce's recent ticket sales are any indication, the 31-year-old singer is proving that a diva is a female version of a hustla millions of times over.
Currently in the midst of her international Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Beyonce spent six nights in London, playing shows at the city's 02 Arena. Bey raked in $9.7 million in gross sales from the 02 shows.
Days after she wrapped her London shows, Bey headed to Manchester, playing three shows at the city's Manchester Arena. The singer brought in an additional $4.65 in gross sales for the three Manchester shows, Billboard reports. Figures from these shows indicate Beyonce is making on average $1.55 million to $1.6 million per show in gross ticket sales. With a total of 65 tour stops, Beyonce will likely gross more than $100 million in ticket sales.
Beyonce is scheduled to continue her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour throughout the summer, kicking off her shows in the United States on June 28. The final stop on the tour will be held on Sept. 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Last year, Madonna took the record for the highest-grossing tour of 2012. The pop star brought in $228.4 million from 72 shows, besting Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Roger Waters, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, and Jay-Z & Kanye West, among others.
