450-Pound Man Arrested With Pot 'Hidden Under Stomach Fat': Cops

Biggie, Biggie, Biggie can't you see? You can't hide drugs in your belly.

Two Florida men were arrested on drug charges June 13 following a traffic stop by Volusia County deputies. Apparently one deputy noticed that passenger Christopher Mitchell, 42, was not wearing his seatbelt.

Mitchell, who weighs more than 450 pounds, allegedly told cops he hadn't buckled up because the belt wouldn't fit around him. Mitchell has a previous drug trafficking conviction and goes by aliases including "Biggie" and "Fat Boy."

The prior came up when deputies ran ID for Mitchell and the driver, 38-year-old Keithian Roberts, according to a report obtained by The Smoking Gun. Cops said the men also looked nervous, so they decided to search the car.

Deputies searched the vehicle with a drug-sniffing dog and allegedly discovered that Mitchell had "23 grams of marijuana hidden under [his] stomach fat.” Roberts was charged with cocaine possession after deputies said they found a small bag of the substance in the car.

Cops also allegedly found a handgun and a tube sock stuffed with $7,000 during their search.
