Bill Clinton: Hillary 'Never Said A Word' About Osama Bin Laden Raid (VIDEO)

Bill Clinton found out about Osama bin Laden's death from President Obama, not his wife.

"I'm pretty sure that I was notified by the White House, not the State Department, which is exactly the right thing. She (Hillary) never said a word to me about this," he said during an appearance on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' Wednesday.

Clinton said that when Hillary became Secretary of State, he decided to stop getting the security briefings that former presidents usually receive because he did not want to jeopardize his charity work or reveal something sensitive during a speaking engagement.

"When she got named to that position, I said, 'Look, I don't want anymore briefings unless the president or the National Security Council, the White House people want me to have it,'" he said. "Because I give too many talks, I do too much work. I never want to inadvertently say something that complicates their job. So I didn’t know about it until they told me. She never said a word."

As the one-year anniversary of bin Laden's death passed this week, Hillary spoke out about the work that still needs to be done to defeat al-Qaida.

"Even as we mark this milestone, we should not forget that the battle to stop al-Qaida and its syndicate of terror will not end with the death of bin Laden," she said.
