Bill O'Reilly had some harsh words for GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain on Wednesday night's episode of "The O'Reilly Factor."
During a discussion with comedian Dennis Miller, O'Reilly explained: "I like Herman Cain, I like his spirit, I think he presents himself very well. But when he came on the Factor a few weeks ago, he had no clue about foreign affairs. None."
Miller, joking about President Obama, responded, "Oh like the guy in there now does." O'Reilly then asked Miller, "Aren't we supposed to improve upon that?"
O'Reilly listed an array of complex issues that Cain might have to face if he were to end up in the White House. The Fox News host went on to say that although Cain might turn out to be an "excellent leader" as president, "the deficit of Mr. Cain is he doesn't have the experience" in foreign policy.
Cain's recent victory in the GOP's Florida straw poll has brought him plenty of media attention, and O'Reilly wasn't the only prominent figure to speak up on Fox News this week about the former Godfather's Pizza CEO.
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, appearing on Tuesday night's "On The Record" with Greta Van Susteren, praised Cain but referred to him as "the flavor of the week." Cain, appearing Wednesday morning on CBS' "Early Show", characterized Palin's comment as "not true." He continued, "Rather than being the flavor of the week, people are saying, ah, there is more to that flavor than meets the eye."
